Welcome to perspexworks!
Wondering about the name?
Well, over at Wikipedia, you can find this definition of Perspex, which is among other things, clear and strong - two traits I certainly admire.
Perspex Island, by Robyn Hitchcock, is one of my favorite albums.
Over at the Book of Paragon, the author has shortened “perspective simplex” to “perspex“.
Being involved in software design, development, quality assurance, and most other activities related to creating quality software, I understand the importance of doing things per specification. Per the ’specs’, hence my take on “perspex“.
What is this website about?
It’s the personal website of David Elliott. You’ll find David’s resume, including screen shots of some of his more recent work. You’ll find the random rant or rave. You’ll find lessons learned regarding WordPress, which is what David used to build this website.
WordPress, is traditionally used for blogs, but as you’ll see, it can also serve as a really great Content Management System.
Enjoy!
